HVACR Degree

 

HVACR specialists can now earn their Associates Degree in Sustainable Technology through our latest online degree program offered through the UA University at Washtenaw Community College. This program teaches the latest in green and sustainable technologies in the HVACR field with practical application. General concepts will be covered in subject areas such as Advanced DDC Systems, Thermal Storage, Solar Heat Collection, Customer Service, Technical Writing, and other related topics.

 

The courses available through this program include:

 

UAE 210:  Advanced Electronics & Direct Digital Control Systems

UAE 220:  Environmental Technology in HVACR

BMG 205:  Creating the Customer Experience

MTH 169:  Intermediate Algebra

ENG 100:  Introduction to Technical & Workplace Writing

 

Earn an Associate in Applied Science degree by adding a few electives to your UA Apprenticeship/UA Star Exam and core program classes. Elective requirements are: one Writing class, one Speech class, one Social Science class, and one Arts & Humanities class.

 

WCC’s Sustainable Technology degree is easily transferred for a 4 year bachelor degree in HVACR at Ferris State University.

 

Registration for our Winter 2010 Semester has just started and will continue through January 7th 2010 with classes starting, January 11th 2010.
